כתוב שהמנוע בולם כאשר ארבעת הטרנזיסטורים בH ברידג' ברוויה. למה זה כך? איזה מתח או זרם עובר דרך המנוע?

והכי חשוב: איך אני עושה אותו דבר ללא ה H ברידג'?

אם יש לי מנוע DC שמסובב ע"י כוח חיצוני , אז הנוע הופך ל דינמו (כא"מ) , עכשיו אם תקצר את שני הדקי המנוע זה לזה , הכא"מ (שהוא תמיד בניגוד לכיוון המנוע) ינסה להפעיל את המנוע לכיוון השני - כלומר ליבלום את המנוע. מה שחלק מגשרי ה H עושים זה לקצר את ההדקים (למיטב זיכרוני צריך להוסיף נגד בכדי שהעסק לא ישרף).
