מציאת קוטביות

במקרה ויש לי כניסה של 9 וולט, ואני רוצה לחבר לה רכיב 7805 (מיצב מתח של 5 וולט), עכשיו מכיוון שאני לא יודע את קוטביות החיבור של 9 הוולט, אני רוצה ליצור משהו שיישר את המתח הניכנס לפי הקוטביות של הרכיב. עכשיו אני יכול לעשות זאות ע"י גשר דיודות (האם יש לכם מושג באיזה דיודות עלי להשתמש? זרם מקסימלי של 1 אמפר ברכיב 7805), לחילופין אולי יש דרך פשוטה יותר? שהרי בדרך כלל בגשר דיודות משתמשים ליצוב מתח חילופין, וכאן יש לי מתח קבוע שפשוט מתחבר בקוטביות שאני לא יכול לדעת מראש.

בדרך כלל משתמשים לגשר דיודות בדיודות מסוג Rectifier כאשר הדיודות האלה יכולות להיות
בנויות לזרמים שונים(חלקן יודעות לעמוד מקסימום בחצי אמפר ואחרות יודעות לעמוד בלי להישרף ב-5 אמפר..)

אני בונה כרטיס שיאפשר לי לבחון את ביצועי הבקר שתיכננתי. חיבור המתח אל הכרטיס מבצע ע"י המשתמש, (סדר גודל של 12 וולט) מתוך שנאי סטנדרטי. בשנאים אלו בדרך כלל ישנה אופציה לשנות את קוטביות החיבור, ואני רוצה "להגן" על הכרטיס מפני המשתמש. המתח לא ישתנה לאחר החיבורתוך כדי הפעולה, אבל הוא כן יכול להשתנות בין הפעלה להפעלה (אם לדוגמא המשתמש יבחר להשתמש בשנאי אחר). אני די בטוח שאפליקציה כזאות קיימת ברוב המקומות בהן ההזנה מתבצעת דרך שנאים נפוצים מסוג זה.

האם יש אתר כלשהו שאני מזין לו את מתח הפעולה, ואת הזרם המקסימלי, והוא נותן לי את השם של הדיודה שאני צריך? אני צריך מתח מפל אחורי קטן מ20 וולט, זרם בממתח קידמי של בערך 0.8 אמפר.

הדרך הפשוטה להגן על המעגל היא לסמן את הקוטביות הרצוייה ליד הקונקטור ולשים דיודה אחת בטור לאחד מקווי ההזנה.
בצורה כזאת אתה מגן על המעגל מפני מתח הפוך, אך המשתמש יצטרך להפוך את הקוטביות כדי שהמעגל יפעל.
אם אתה רוצה שהמעגל יפעל בכל מקרה, גם בחיבור הפוך, אז אתה אכן צריך גשר דיודות.
